TEPEAPULCO

Get to know Tepeapulco, an ancient town rich in history, culture, tradition and natural beauty, located at the foot of the enormous Cerro del Xihuingo. In the center of this place you cannot miss the Convent of San Francisco de Asís. On one side of this place is a house that they say belonged to Hernán Cortés and the formidable Caja de Agua, a fountain with such medieval detailswhere Lhe hands from Chilcuautla make handicrafts based on the natural fiber of the maguey "ixtle" and the palm, materials with which countless handicrafts are made such as bags, hats, blowers, mats, rugs, brooms, brushes, etc. The waist loom is still used, a pre-Hispanic technique through which various items of clothing, backpacks, purses, shawls, among others, are made.
